Travel to UNC Chapel Hill Campus
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) is conveniently located about 20 minutes drive from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). We plan to set up Slack channel so that participants can communicate/organize their Uber/Lyft rides from RDU to the UNC campus.
UNC On-campus Housing Information
If you included the dormitory housing option in your registration, you will receive an email about the housing late May. We will provide a pillow, a bath towel, a hand towel, bed sheets, a blanket, shampoo/conditioner/soap, wash sponge, disposable shower sandals, etc.
Residence Hall : Carmichael, single-occupancy rooms with shared bathroom (based on the identified gender).
Check-in : June 16 (Sunday) 3-7pm. Late arrival is possible but it needs to be communicated to the ACTC 2024 staff.
Check-out : June 20 (Thursday) 1-3pm. Early departure is possible but it needs to be communicted to the ACTC 2024 staff.

Downtown Chapel Hill and Carrboro
UNC campus is located in the college town of Chapel Hill, and Carrboro is the neighboring town where many graduate students and faculty members live. Franklin St. is the main street along which you find many restaurants and bars. For more information, visit https://www.visitchapelhill.org/
Information for a weekend getaway after ACTC 2024
After the ACTC 2024 (June 17 (Mon) ~ June 20 (Thurs. ~1pm)), you might consider a weekend getaway to mountains or beaches in North Carolina. Chapel Hill is located about a three-hour drive from the Appalachian mountains and a similar distance from Carolina's coastal beaches, including the Outer Banks.
